THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FOREVER CANFORD (P Mxoli) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow, losing one length. Trainer S J Gray was advised to reschool this colt prior to his next engagement (GT). b) ACTUARY (C Habib) was restless in the stalls and thereafter was slow, losing one length. c) ROCK MY BOAT (K Matsunyane) reared in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 300m, ROCK MY BOAT (K Matsunyane), which shifted in when racing green, was steadied momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of WILLOW CHARM (*M Mbuto), which rolled out. b) CLEVER TREVOR (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Matthew de Kock advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ROCK MY BOAT raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 8 August 2025 at 09H36).
