THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SEA WAYS (C Habib), FIFTH OF JULY (D Schwarz) and GRIMALDI (B Nyawo) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) QUNETRA (*K A Brewer) raced freely to the front fitted with blinkers for the first time. b) During the running of the race, the flap on Jockey A Domeyer's (TWIN TURBO) crop became detached. c) NAVAL GUARD (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) GRIMALDI was ridden by Jockey B Nyawo (declared 9 April 2022 at 09H12). b) EXCELLARATOR: Jockey J P van der Merwe weighed out at 52,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
