THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CARTEL QUEEN (C Habib), CHERICHERILADY (*D D Louw) and TIME IN PARIS (*M Mbuto) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls CARTEL QUEEN (C Habib) was bumped by CALL ME JANE (S Moodley) which jumped outwards. b) At the 150m COME TO MY PARTY (S Hlengwa) was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed between TIME IN PARIS (*M Mbuto) and the heels of PENAN NOM (T Godden) which hung in from the 400m, rolled in and was immediately corrected. c) TIME IN PARIS (*M Mbuto), which hung in throughout, took an awkward stride approaching the 50m. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey S Moodley reported that CALL ME JANE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
