a) ONO NO KOMACHI (S Khumalo) was nervous in the stalls. b) TAKE YOUR TIME (MK Katjedi) was slow into stride. c) DARLING HARBOUR (C Little) and CHERE FOR ME (C Maujean) jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 testing were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h13) b) Permission was granted for LIZWILE ILALI (M van Rensburg) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) CHERE FOR ME (C Maujean), which jumped awkwardly inwards, was corrected shortly after the start. d) TAKE YOUR TIME (MK Katjedi) was hanging in from the 300m. e) Jockey C Little reported that he felt something amiss with DARLING HARBOUR. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
