THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	BOSNAY (W Agrella) was stubborn loading. 
b)	ALADO'S HABIT (M van Rensburg) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	ONE RELIGION (K Minnie) was nervous in the stalls.
d)	POLYNOMIAL (*N Nastili) and PRISCILLA MAISEY (C Little) were slow into stride.	 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	TREASURE HUNT recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer JP Nel was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level.
b)	Permission was granted for POLYNOMIAL (*N Nastili) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	PRISCILLA MAISEY (C Little) was bumped outwards by BOSNAY (W Agrella), which jumped outwards shortly after the start.
d) 	CONCERTO (S Khumalo) over raced in the early and middle stages.
e)	BASINGSTOKE (MK Katjedi) was baulked for galloping room between the 150m and the 100m.
f)	BASINGSTOKE (MK Katjedi) and POLYNOMIAL (*N Nastili) came together and brushed at the 100m. 
g)	ALADO'S HABIT (M van Rensburg) was hanging out throughout.
h)	Jockey W Agrella was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (Guideline 3; Appendix E) in that he mis-used his crop by striking BOSNAY in front of the saddle at the 200m. Jockey W Agrella signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1 000.00.	
i)	ARABIAN RED, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Mtengwana, acting on behalf of Trainer AC Greeff, was advised. (LM)
