THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MALCOLM'S DREAM (C F Dicken) was stubborn to load. Trainer M Dixon will be advised to reschool this mare. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start WARRIOR ROYALE (T Godden) and ACACIA'S BLOSSOM (*D D Louw) came together and bumped. b) MAGICAL VIEW (C Habib) and WARRIOR ROYALE (T Godden) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey C Habib reported that MAGICAL VIEW made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of WARRIOR ROYALE (T Godden) (2.90 lengths, 33/10 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) PERILLA (C Little) did not parade in front of the grandstand. In terms of Rule 93.2.4 this mare is suspended until such time as it proves tractable parading in front of the grandstand on a race day to the satisfaction of the Stewards. Trainer D S Bosch will be advised. f) ONE SMART COOKIE (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Prinsloo was advised (DZ).
