THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	TROIS TROIS QUATRE (C Murray) and PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley) lost 1 length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Leaving the 1600m HODGEPODGE (*B Plaatjies) made contact with the inside running rail.
b)	Approaching the 100m TROIS TROIS QUATRE (C Murray) was bumped by PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley) which hung in and rolled in. As a result TROIS TROIS QUATRE (C Murray) and PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley) became unbalanced and made contact on a second occasion.  A race review was called followed by an objection lodged by Jockey C Murray on behalf of the second placed horse, TROIS TROIS QUATRE against the winner PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley) on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. After considering the video footage and the evidence presented, the Board was of the view that but for the above incident, TROIS TROIS QUATRE (C Murray) would not have beaten PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley). Therefore, the Objection was overruled and the Judges' result was allowed to stand. In arriving at this decision the Board considered the extent of the interference and the distance of 0.50 lengths between these two horses at the finish. Jockey C Murray's deposit was refunded. 
c)	AFRICAN DUSK (S Hlengwa) hung in and shifted in, in the concluding stages.
d)	In view of the performance of BOMBERS IN THE SKY (C Little) which hung in from the 300m and proved difficult to assist in the concluding stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	In view of the performance of SKITTLES SKIES (C Zackey) (4.70 lengths, 9/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
f)	PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting on behalf of Trainer W A Nel was advised (DZ).

a)	Jockey C Little was the rider of BOMBER IN THE SKY (advised 24.08.2025/07h27). 
b)	Jockey C Little (BOMBER IN THE SKY) weighed out at 57.9kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
