THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) GREEN OKRA (X Ndlovu) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow into stride.
b) SUPREME JUDGE (C Habib) was nervous in the stalls.
c) DONNY TEE (Y Ramzan), HAIR TRIGGER (K Minnie), THUNDER MASTER (*N Nastili) were slow into
stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) HAIR TRIGGER recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer A C Greeff was advised
that a second blood specimen would be collected (15H24). This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2
level.
b) DAS GUTE recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer L Gila was advised that a
second blood specimen would be collected (15H24). This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level.
c) Permission was granted for SUPREME JUDGE (C Habib) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding
to the start.
d) THUNDER MASTER (*N Nastili) hung in from the 250m.
e) SUPREME JUDGE (C Habib) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m.
f) HAIR TRIGGER (K Minnie) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between MISTER
WHISTLE (S Naidoo) and SWISS WALT (C Zackey), which shifted out between the 300m and 150m.
g) In view of the performance of GREEN OKRA (X Ndlovu), (distance 5,80 lengths, betting 25/2), the
Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
h) BEECHAMWOOD BOY (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
