THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STORM AHEAD (S Khumalo), FUSHIMI INARI (N Klink) and VOLTE FACE (J R Syster) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1400m, STOP THE TRAFFIC (P Mxoli) was carried out by TITANS OF WAR (*K J Lihaba), which commenced to over-race. b) Shortly before the finish line, GUY ALEXANDER (C Maujean) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between BANHA BRIDGE (S Moodley) and STOP THE TRAFFIC (P Mxoli), which rolled in. c) Jockey C Maujean reported that GUY ALEXANDER did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that STORM AHEAD did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) GIMMEACHOICE (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J A Soma was advised (MduP).
