THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MANZ KNIGHT (*M Mbuto) and SEATTLE RAIN (M Thackeray) were slow into stride. b) IRISH ANTHEM (S Veale) jumped awkwardly. Lost 1 length. c) PARLIAMENT SQUARE (S Sosibo) jumped awkwardly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CARNIVAL PARK (M V'Rensburg) and DYNASTY'S LAST (J Gates) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) Leaving the 700m CALL ME HARRIET (C F Dicken) commenced to hang out and thereafter raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. c) Leaving the 400m ZARA'S WINTER (T Godden) was brushed out by KING CELTILLUS (S Khumalo) which commenced to hang out and rolled out. d) MANZ KNIGHT (*M Mbuto) hung out in the concluding stages. e) Apprentice M Mbuto reported that MANZ KNIGHT made an abnormal respiratory noise in the pull up area. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) ZARA'S WINTER (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee O Christiansen acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MANZ KNIGHT raced equipped with a cornell collar (advised 10.09.2024). b) KING CELTILLUS raced equipped with blinkers (advised 28.08.2025/06h26). c) DYNASTY'S LAST raced without blinkers (advised 26.08.2025/10h35). d) Jockey S Sosibo (PARLIAMENT SQUARE) weighed out at 54.0kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
