Stipes Report
During the loading process BLAZING BEAUTY (T Godden) was restless in the stalls and broke through the front gates. This filly was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn. The course Medics attended to Jockey T Godden. This caused a delay to the start of this race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process BLAZING BEAUTY (T Godden) broke through the front of the gates. This filly was returned to the loading area, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn. b) POSITION OF POWER (A Mgudlwa) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review was called into the start of this race where it was established that NORTHERN WARRIOR (R A Venniker) had cast its head into the adjacent stall gate 4 as the gates were released. The Board was satisfied that this filly's head was not in the stall gate allocated to her and acting in terms of Rule 61.6.11, declared this filly to be a non-runner. b) Approaching the 800m KINSHIN SHA (J Gates) was momentarily inconvenienced between the heels of MUSIC IS LIFE (N Patel) and the heels of CHARA SANDS (*M Mbuto) which rolled in marginally despite the efforts of Apprentice Mbuto to allow sufficient room to his inside. c) Approaching the 300m MUSIC IS LIFE (N Patel) took an awkward stride to avoid Egyptian Geese on the track. d) Approaching the 50m WORLD PHAROAH (C Habib) which had shifted in away from the crop was carried out by PHUTULICIOUS (S Veale) which rolled out away from KINSHIN SHA (J Gates). e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to BLAZING BEAUTY (T Godden), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. (Suspension dates: 30.08.2025 to the 05.09.2025 bdi). BLAZING BEAUTY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M N Prinsloo was advised. f) Trainer M N Prinsloo was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate BLAZING BEAUTY against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccination as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer M N Prinsloo signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000. g) MUSIC IS LIFE (N Patel), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) No report.
