Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LUCY ROCKET (D Ashby) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The Stewards reviewed the start with regard to LUCY ROCKET (D Ashby) in stall gate 3 and established that this mare had become restless as the start was effected. The Stewards were satisfied that any ground lost was as a result of her own behaviour and took no further action. In view of the report from the Starter regarding LUCY ROCKET (D Ashby), Trainer AD Steyn will be advised to have this mare re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. b) WORLDLY (G Wright) was continually held up for a clear run in the straight and had to be steadied when close to the heels of a tiring PEACE OF MIND (C Little) at the 150m. c) EASY MONEY (*B Plaatjies) was switched out off the heels of SHE'S MY WORLD (M Yeni) at the 200m. d) Jockey S Veale (COUNTER ATTACK) briefly got his crop entangled in his right-side rein at the 100m, which placed him at a disadvantage. e) CHAMPAGNE MAC (*V Jodhee) was hanging out in the straight. f) Apprentice V Jodhee (CHAMPAGNE MAC) rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. g) SHE'S MY WORLD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
