THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start GRUE OF ICE (*D Pillay) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of COPACABANA (S Moodley) which rolled out and MY TRUE LOVE (C Habib) which rolled in. b) COPACABANA (S Moodley) and FLYING REIGN STORM (D Daniels) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) Leaving the 200m FLYING REIGN STORM (D Daniels) shifted out away from the crop and was corrected. d) Apprentice M Mbuto (CHICAGO LASS) commenced to give ground to the field in the concluding stages. Thereafter Apprentice Mbuto reported that he felt something amiss with this mare in the running. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) FLYING REIGN STORM (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Little was the rider of THE QUEEN BEE (advised 31.08.2025/08h03). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
