THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUANDARY (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LICENCE TO THRILL (T Godden) stumbled leaving the starting stalls. b) KING OF SPIN (S Veale) proved difficult to settle in the early stages and thereafter commenced to hang in from the 600m. c) RIVERSTONE (N Patel) hung in from the 300m. d) Jockey C Zackey reported that QUANDARY did not stride out in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of BOURBON WARRIOR (C Habib) which hung in and took a number of awkward strides in running from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer Y Govender will be asked to report back on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. f) LICENCE TO THRILL (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
