THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	The starting stall gate of IAN'S FERARRI (J Penny) opened on its own, this filly was restrained, taken back to the start, checked by the Course Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race, and was re-loaded.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Jockey K Derere, the rider of MANVIR, reported something amiss in running with this gelding and did not persevere from the 200m.  The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	KURSK (AUS), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer V Birketoft advised (AJ)

JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES:

a)	Apprentice M Josi, the rider of STATE YOUR CASE, only claimed 1kg of his 4kg apprentice allowance which was declared (51kg)
