THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE MERCIFUL (K Matsunyane) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) FULL GO (J R Syster) was slow losing one length. c) STOP THE TRAFFIC (P Mxoli) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FULL GO (J R Syster) shifted in away from the crop from the 200m and thereafter Jockey J R Syster briefly dropped his right-side rein at approximately the 150m. b) CREPUSCOLO (J Gates) tired badly in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that STEP INTO IT took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey P Mxoli reported that STOP THE TRAFFIC took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) RED SPARROW (M K Katjedi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Webber advised (MduP).
