THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ART NOUVEAU (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 200m, PRINCESS PALACE (K Matsunyane) was carried in by FAIZAH (*M Mbuto) which rolled in from the 250m. b) Jockey K Matsunyane was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, (Appendix E; Guideline M), in that as the rider of PRINCESS PALACE he misused his crop by striking this filly more than twelve times (13) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. Jockey Matsunyane signed an admission of guilt and was fined R2000. c) PRINCESS PALACE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells was advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) OUR LADY FATE raced without blinkers and without a tongue tie (advised 04.09.2025/08h24). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
