THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ENDEARED (*S Bungane) was restless in the stalls. b) MORFELIHA (M Yeni) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, MARKET TRENDS (*V Jodhee) was bumped by ALESSIA ASHEVILLE (C Bantam), which was bumped by MORFELIHA (M Yeni), which had jumped outwards. b) In view of the debut performance of XTINES PRINCESS (GB) (C Zackey) (Betting 11/2; Distance 6.15 lengths), which over raced in the early stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ALESSIA ASHEVILLE (C Bantam) was hanging out in the straight. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding ENDEARED (*S Bungane), Trainer ELP Steyn will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) CAPE CAPTAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
