THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SOVEREIGN COMMAND (S Veale) hung out from the 100m. b) In view of the performance of DARE TO TRY (D Daniels) (23.00 lengths, 125/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Trainer F Greyling reported that XIPHOS returned post-race having cast the right hind shoe. d) LITTLE CRACKER (J Jacobs), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
