THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WALKONTHEWILDSIDE (R Fourie), KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (M Yeni) and PEDRO (C Maujean) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Permission was granted for KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (M Yeni) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
b)	Shortly after the start, WILLIAM THE FIRST (C Habib) was bumped outwards by DOWSER (*N Nastili), which jumped outwards.
c)	WAZ WOUTER commenced to lose ground from approximately the 1300m and failed to respond to Jockey Y Ramzan's urgings. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Assistant Trainer FJ Jacobs was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
d)	BRENDEN JAMES (C Little) raced wide without cover on the bend and into the straight.
e)	KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 400m.	
f)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that GIMME MORE TIME did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
g)	Jockey S Naidoo reported that the felt something amiss with AMERICAN DREAM. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
