THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	BIG BOY BRUCE (E Webber) was unruly behind the stalls and stubborn loading.
b)	MIGHTY MAC (MK Katjedi) jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	GREEN OKRA (X Ndlovu) and CHIEF RUNNER (*G Dookhit) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Permission was granted for MIGHTY MAC (MK Katjedi) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
b)	The start of this race was delayed due to the thirty-minute interval between races.
c)	TINTAMARRE (C Habib) was hanging in from the 200m.
d)	CRUZADOR (Y Ramzan) shifted in away from the crop at the 150m and was corrected.
e)	Jockey R Fourie reported that MONTANA LIGHTS choked up in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
	Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables.
f)	In view of the performance of CHIEF RUNNER (*G Dookhit), which shortened its stride in the latter stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
g)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding BIG BOY BRUCE (E Webber), Trainer SB Kotzen will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
