THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RUNTHRUTHEJUNGLE (M Thackeray) was stubborn to load, jumped outwards and lost 1 length. b) TASK FORCE (A Mgudlwa) and BLAZING FURY (J Gates) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) RUNTHRUTHEJUNGLE (M Thackeray) jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) Jockey C Habib reported that DUNGEON MASTER changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Trainers M/M De Kock was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that they failed to notify the Chief Stipendiary Steward within two days that the horse BOMBARDIER BOY is a gelding. Trainer Mathew De Kock signed an admission of guilt and was fined R250. d) COWBOY COUNTRY (J Jacobs), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
