Stipes Report

During the loading process BUDDY BOY (C Murray) and HAMILTON HERO (A Mgudlwa) became restless in the stalls. These horses were released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. This caused a delay to the start of this race. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	BUDDY BOY (C Murray) was stubborn to load. This colt was restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. 
b)	HAMILTON HERO (A Mgudlwa) was restless in the stalls. This gelding was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. 
c)	GREEN GLOW (C Zackey) lost 1 length.
d)	HUNTERS ARROW (M V'Rensburg) lost 2 lengths.

  THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	After being slow away GREEN GLOW (C Zackey) failed to muster speed and raced detached from the field until the 400m when, in response to Jockey Zackey's constant encouragement, this colt managed to finish its race off strongly.
b)	FIRE FORCE (K Matsunyane), HAMILTON HERO (A Mgudlwa) and SUNNYBILLS FERRARI (S Veale) were carried out by TEE DOG (C Habib) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls and commenced to over-race. As a result MANIKONGO (AUS) (S Moodley) was inconvenienced. 
c)	Approaching the 250m HUNTERS ARROW (M V'Rensburg) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between INVICTUS JET (M Yeni) and BLACK PLATINA (D Daniels).
d)	Leaving the 200m GREEN GLOW (C Zackey), which raced green, was brushed by KING OF VICTORY (*M Mbuto) which hung in from the 400m.
e)	Jockey M V'Rensburg reported that HUNTERS ARROW took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
f)	BUDDY BOY (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew De Kock was advised (NS).

a)	FIRE FORCE raced without ear muffs (advised 12.098.2025/13h26).
