THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VENTUROUS (*K Strydom) was stubborn to load. b) FIAMETTA (*C Dicken) fly-jumped leaving the stalls dislodging Apprentice C Dicken. c) FIAMETTA (*C Dicken) and SHESAKINDA MAGIC (*M Katjedi) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GERALDINE (J Gates) and SHESAKINDA MAGIC (*M Katjedi) were carried wide by the loose horse for a short distance near the 1200m. b) CINDERELLA CASTLE (*K Brewer) was tightened on the inside of the loose horse shortly before entering the straight. c) VENTUROUS (*K Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Hewitson advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) FIAMETTA raced with alumites in front and unshod behind (advised 05.04.2022 / 10h22). b) Apprentice K Strydom was the rider of VENTUROUS (advised 14.04.2022 / 13h45).
