THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IRON WILL (M Thackeray) and GORGEOUS CAPE (C Zackey) lost 1 length. b) TOWN CRIER (S Moodley) fly-jumped and lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GORGEOUS CAPE (C Zackey) raced fiercely in the early stages and as a result the saddle on this filly slipped forward in the running. b) Leaving the 200m TOWN CRIER (S Moodley) and ULTRA QUICK (A Mgudlwa) came together and brushed. c) In view of the performances of QUINN'S TIME (D Daniels) (7.00 lengths, 25/2 in the betting) and INDECENT PROPOSAL (N Patel) (7.40 lengths, 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) ROY TAKING OFF (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
