Stipes Report

THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE STARTING STALLS HAVING TO BE REPOSITIONED ON THE TRACK. THERAFTER, DURING THE LOADING PROCESS, SCOTT'S GUARD (J R SYSTER) BECAME RESTLESS, RESULTING IN SIX OF ALL (M VAN RENSBURG) BECOMING RESTLESS AND BREAKING THROUGH THE FRONT GATES. THIS GELDING WAS RESTRAINED BY THE RIDER, RETURNED TO THE START, EXAMINED BY THE VETERINARY SURGEON, PASSED FIT TO RACE AND RELOADED. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED A FURTHER DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	During the loading process, SCOTT'S GUARD (J R Syster) became restless, resulting in SIX OF ALL (M van Rensburg) becoming restless and breaking through the front gates. Thereafter, SCOTT'S GUARD (J R Syster) was slow, losing two lengths. 
	Trainer J Borman was advised to reschool SCOTT'S GUARD prior to his next engagement (GT).
b)	MASTER PREDATOR (M Yeni) reared in the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start with regards to SCOTT'S GUARD in stall gate 7 and established that this gelding had become restless as the start was effected. The Stewards were satisfied that any ground lost was a result of this gelding's own behaviour and therefore took no further action. 
b)	AFTERBURN (P Mxoli) hung in from the 200m. 
c)	Jockey J Penny (GLOBAL LOVE) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey J Penny reported that this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.

d)	Jockey N Klink reported that ROYAL SOCIETY tired badly in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	In view of the performance of SCOTT'S GUARD (J R Syster), (distance 18,75 lengths, betting 100/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
f)	In view of the performance of MASTER PREDATOR (M Yeni), (distance 20,75 lengths, betting 100/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
g)	Jockey C Habib reported that NEBRASKA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
h)	AMAZON QUEEN (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

a)	MASTER PREDATOR raced equipped with blinkers (declared 23 September 2025 at 08H50) and alumites (declared 23 September 2025 at 09H20).

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED:
a)	GLOBAL LOVE fatigued.	
b)	ROYAL SOCIETY coughing post race.

d)	MASTER PREDATOR not striding out left front; blowing post race.	
e)	NEBRASKA abnormal respiratory noise.
