THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SHEETS AND GOGGLES (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey M van Rensburg (HOPSCOTCH) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey M van Rensburg reported that this filly changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) MATTIAZO (C Zackey) took an awkward stride shortly before the finish line. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) OKLAHOMA TWISTER (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
