THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	PALACE PRINCE (S Moodley) was restless in the stalls and thereafter slow, losing three lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	A race review was called into the start with regards to PALACE PRINCE (S Moodley) in stall gate 9 and it was established that this colt had become restless as the start was effected and the Handler allocated to him was late in releasing his hold on the colt and, as a consequence, PALACE PRINCE (S Moodley) was slow, losing three lengths. In light of the fact that this colt finished in dead-heat second position, the Board, acting in terms of Rule 61.5.10.2, declared him to be a runner. 
b)	Jockey C Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with BIOFARMER in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c)	Jockey M Yeni reported that SILVER LONGSWORD made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BIOFARMER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer H E Adamson was advised.	
e)	HONG KONG (*G Samo-Burthia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS).
