THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KAITRINA'S WISH (*B Plaatjies) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls SKIPPER O'MALLEY (G Lerena) which was slow into stride, was carried in by ROY'S GRACE (S Veale) which jumped in. b) PREDATOR'S SUPRISE (C Habib) raced wide in the early stages. c) At the 150m LIGHTINTHEDARKNESS (R A Venniker) was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed between the heels of JUMPTHEGREENLIGHT (S Moodley) and the heels of TAKATALVI (S Hlengwa) which rolled in. d) In view of the performance of KAITRINA'S WISH (*B Plaatjies) which after being slow away, trailed the field on debut, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) ZENA ROSE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) KAITRINA'S WISH raced fitted with blinkers. Alumites in front and unshod behind (advised 06.03.2025/08h03).
