THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUE HORIZON (*D D Louw) jumped awkwardly losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SOVEREIGN GRANT (S Khumalo) hung out between the 350m and the 200m. b) MALCOLM'S DREAM (K Matsunyane) hung in from the 200m. c) LUCRATIVE (S Veale) was not persevered with over the final 200m and thereafter Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss in the running with this filly. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) INFINITY EDGE (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
