THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WOMAN IN GOLD (M Yeni) jumped inwards.
b)	SWIFT SERENITY (K Steyn) and PEACHES AND CREAM (S Moodley) were slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start TRIPLEBELL (G Wright) was buffeted between FIRST KISS (L Mxothwa) and WOMAN IN GOLD (M Yeni), which had jumped inwards. 
b)	Shortly after the start ONE DANCE (C Little) rolled inwards and made contact with FINAL CALL (D Ashby).
c)	After being slightly slow to begin, FINAL CALL (D Ashby) was taken in behind runners from a wide draw.
d)	FIRST KISS (L Mxothwa) raced awkwardly with its head up and, as a consequence, proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
e)	At the 1000m LOVE HER MADLY (*V Jodhee) was steadied briefly when close to the heels of ONE DANCE (C Little). Thereafter, LOVE HER MADLY (*V Jodhee) raced wide on the turn and into the straight.
f)	ONE DANCE (C Little) raced wide on the turn until the 800m.
g)	Jockey C Little reported that the saddle on ONE DANCE, which was hanging in from the 200m, slipped back in running. This was confirmed on the patrol film.
h)	In the concluding stages SWIFT SERENITY (K Steyn) rolled out and had to be straightened.
i)	FIRST KISS (L Mxothwa) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J de Villiers)
