THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, TODOQUE (P Mxoli) and WARNING SOUND (S Moodley) came together and bumped. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WARNING SOUND (S Moodley) hung in from the 400m. b) LAST CAR TO PASS (*G Samo-Burthia) hung in from the 200m. c) CEUTA (C Murray) tired in the concluding stages. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) The hock boots on ACROSS THE POND (M Yeni) slipped down in running. These were inspected and found to be in working order; however, Stable Employee P de Palma, acting on behalf of Trainer S J Gray, was advised that this equipment must be properly fastened in future. e) KISSHOTEN (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A P Peter advised (SM). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) CARE FORGOT was ridden by Jockey S Khumalo (declared 2 October 2025 at 14H43). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
