THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	KWITE A KING (JP van der Merwe) was stubborn loading, causing a delay and thereafter, was slow into stride. 
b)	GOLD DUST (C Little) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In view of the performance of GOLD DUST (C Little), which pulled hard in the early stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with KWITE A KING. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	ARIOVISTUS (R Fourie) raced without cover until leaving the 1000m.
d)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding KWITE A KING (JP van der Merwe), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 06/10/2025 to 12/10/2025 inclusive) KWITE A KING may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
