THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) BIG BAY (*Y Ramzan) was hanging in throughout. B) LIGHT THAT LOOSE (W Agrella) was hanging in from the 250m. C) WHAT A WINNER (T Gould) was hanging in from the 200m. D) Jockey S Khathi reported that INHERIT THE RAIN took no interest in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. E) Jockey S Khumalo reported that REGIMENTAL did not stride out freely in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. F) In the concluding stages, STRANGER DANGER (J P v'd Merwe) which shifted in slightly away from the crop, had to steady momentarily off the heels of EVIES FIRST (L Mxothwa) which rolled out marginally. G) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning LIGHT THAT LOOSE (W Agrella), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
