Stipes Report
The start of this race was delayed due to the starter's report below. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) The bridle on WARRIOR ROYALE (T Godden) had to be re-fitted at the start. Thereafter this filly proved stubborn to load. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller will be advised to re-school this filly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : (JN) a) Shortly after the start SANBEENEE (S Hlengwa) was carried out by MAGICAL VIEW (C Habib) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. This resulted in WARRIOR ROYALE (T Godden) being squeezed out when awkwardly placed between SANBEENEE (S Hlengwa) and TREASURE ISLAND (K Matsunyane). b) Jockey C Habib reported that MAGICAL VIEW raced with its tongue over the bit. Thereafter this filly hung out from the 350m. c) QUICKSTEPGAL (*D D Louw), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Prinsloo was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MAGICAL VIEW: Mouth injury. b) QUICKSTEPGAL: Cut into right hind.
