Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	ROYAL STYLE (O Noach) and HAZEL GREEN (JP van der Merwe) were resaddled at the start, causing a delay.
b)	BEAUTIFUL ONE (A Domeyer) and FANTINE (C Zackey) were stubborn loading, causing a further delay and thereafter, were slow into stride.
c)	KUBU (K Steyn), HALF FULL (C Bantam) and GUTSY BABY (*V Jodhee) jumped slow, losing one length.
d)	SAACHI ONE (C Little) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In view of the performance of STORMIN ATTACK (C Orffer), which pulled hard in the early and middle stages, raced onto the heels of SAACHI ONE (C Little) approaching the 1000m and thereafter raced wide on the turn, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	Leaving the 1000m, the saddle on ROYAL STYLE slipped forward, placing Jockey O Noach at a disadvantage.
c)	In view of the debut performance of GINGER ROOD (G Behr), which raced green and raced wide on the early part of the turn, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	FANTINE (C Zackey) raced green and was hanging out on the turn.
e)	SAACHI ONE (C Little),  which raced green, rolled in and brushed KUBU (K Steyn) leaving the 400m.
f)	Jockey R Fourie (PANJANDRUM) had his crop accidentally struck from his grasp by Jockey C Little (SAACHI ONE) approaching the 100m.
g)	KUBU (K Steyn), which raced green, shifted out in the concluding stages and had to be straightened
h)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding BEAUTIFUL ONE (A Domeyer) and FANTINE (C Zackey) Trainers C Bass and DM Kannemeyer will be advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
i)	SAACHI ONE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Woodruff was advised. (TJ)
