Stipes Report
SEE IT AGAIN (R A Venniker) refused to load into the starting stalls and was subsequently withdrawn by the Starter. The rest of the field was unloaded from the stalls and time was taken for the public to restructure their bets. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SEE IT AGAIN (R A Venniker) refused to load. Trainer M L Roberts will be advised to reschool this gelding. b) During the loading process LICENSE TO THRILL (T Godden) was restless in the stalls and thereafter broke through the front gates while the field was being unloaded. c) SEQUOIA (M Thackeray) lost 4 lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SEQUOIA (M Thackeray), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 20.10.2025 to the 26.10.2025. SEQUOIA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M D Miller will be advised. b) MADISON VALLEY (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MADISON VALLEY raced equipped with blinkers (advised 18.10.2025/18h36). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) No report.
