THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start FREE IN SEATTLE (P Mxoli) and KEY WORKER (*S Valjalo) came together and bumped. b) At approximately the 1700m AVOONTOAST (C Zackey) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of LAVA LAMP (K Matsunyane) and on the inside of KEY WORKER (*S Valjalo), which rolled in. c) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that LAVA LAMP did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) KEY WORKER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. (MS) JOCKEY CHANGES: None RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER a) DIMAKO'S JET raced with blinkers (declared 08h20 on 20251022) THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) AVOONTOAST - brush wound left hind b) LAVA LAMP - lame left hind.
