EN ROUTE TO THE START, FRANKIE FAHRENHEIT DISLODGED WORK RIDER G DADAMASI, WHO WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE PARAMEDICS AND PASSED FIT TO RIDE. FRANKIE FAHRENHEIT WAS TAKEN IN HAND, LED TO THE START AND REUNITED WITH WORK RIDER G DADAMASI. THEREAFTER,  
SINGLE COMBAT (+T MANGO) LIFTED ITS LEFT FRONT SHOE, WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THESE INCIDENTS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	UNDERDOG (+C Mabaya), SAMUEL SHARPE (+T Matsoele), SINGLE COMBAT (+T Mango) and WINTER WEDDING (+S B Mthembu) were slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 300m, ECHOES OF WAR (+S Mosia) shifted out away from the crop; thereafter, in the concluding stages, this gelding ducked out significantly away from the crop. Trainer F P Habib was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to improve this gelding's racing manners.
b)	In view of the performance of MME HUNTRESS (+T Ncume), (distance 14,50 lengths, betting 6/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c)	SINGLE COMBAT (+T Mango), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

WORK RIDER CHANGES:
a)	SINGLE COMBAT was ridden by Work Rider T Mango (declared 22 October 2025 at 08H28).	
b)	WINTER WEDDING was ridden by Work Rider S B Mthembu (declared 27 October 2025 at 08H52). Work Rider S B Mthembu was charged with a contravention of Rule 21.7 in that he accepted to ride both WINTER WEDDING and SEVEN TIMES RED in the 1st Race at the Vaal Racecourse on 28 October 2025. Work Rider S B Mthembu signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. 
Suspension date:  6 November 2025.
c)	FRANKIE FAHRENHEIT was ridden by Work Rider G Dadamasi	 (declared 28 October 2025 at 11H58).
