THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	During the loading process, HURRICANE POWER (L Nhlapo) kicked the back gate, resulting in DUCHESS DI (*S Valjalo) breaking through the front gate. This filly was removed from the stalls, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. 
b)	PLEIADES STAR (M van Rensburg) was restless in the stalls.
c)	SPEEDWELL QUEEN (P Mxoli), DONDOYAKI (C Murray) and INSPIRATION (C Zackey) were slow losing one length.

a)	In view of the performance of GIRL IN VERDITE (K A Brewer), (distance 8,95 lengths, betting 11/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
