Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a) Fair start.	.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	At the 500m Jockey C Murray felt something amiss with WING WALKER and immediately tried to ease this gelding out of the race. Shortly thereafter, WING WALKER collapsed, dislodged Jockey C Murray and fell through the outside running rail. WING WALKER was attended to on course by the Veterinary Surgeon. This precluded Jockey C Murray from being able to weigh in. In terms of Rule 66.2 the Stewards were satisfied that WING WALKER had carried the correct weight.
b)	Approaching the 100m LA PULGA (A Domeyer) was directed outwards and into clear running.
c)	POWER AND THE GLORY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TJ)
d)	BLACK EAGLE, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (SC)
