Stipes Report
The start of this Race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval between Races. LEVITATOR (K Matsunyane) cast the left hind shoe en-route to the start which was attended to by the farrier at the start. This caused a further delay. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUPER MISS (*D Pillay) lost approximately five lengths and thereafter shifted out sharply leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) Shortly after the start, ECHO (*D Louw) was brushed by PRETTY KARA (S Hlengwa) which was carried out by SOVEREIGN GEM (A Mgudlwa) which rolled out away from LA KATICI (R Venniker) which jumped out leaving the starting stalls. b) At the 1100m, ECHO (*D Louw) was steadied when close to the heels of CRIMSON TYPHOON (C Murray) which rolled in. c) DANEGELD (N Patel) was baulked for a clear run between the 350m and the 300m. Thereafter, at the 200m, CRIMSON TYPHOON (C Murray) was steadied out away from DANEGELD (N Patel) which rolled out when attempting a tight available run between HOLLYWOOD HEIRESS (*M Mbuto) and CALI BULLET (*B Marx- Jacobson) which subsequently rolled in. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SUPER MISS (*D Pillay), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 01.11.2025 to the 07.11.2025. SUPER MISS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer Y Govender was advised. (TM) e) AMELIA'S LEGACY (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Greyling was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil.
