THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DISTING (C Zackey) was slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start, DISTING (C Zackey) was bumped outwards by SOHOT SOWHAT (C Little), which shifted out leaving the stalls.
b)	Between the 400m and the 300m BABELICIOUS (G Lerena) had difficulty obtaining clear running. 
c)	PAPILLON BLU (K Steyn) was hanging out in the latter stages.
d)	The saddle on WILD APPLAUSE (JP van der Merwe) slipped back in running. This was confirmed on the patrol film.
e)	In view of the performance of CANDY TOWN (S Moodley), which raced at the front of the field in the early stages and tired quickly in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
f)	In view of the performances of SYMPHONY IN WHITE (A Domeyer) and PINK PIGEON (M Yeni), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies.
g)	In view of the performance of FESTIVAL CHIC (C Murray), which was hanging out from the 200m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
h)	DISTING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Cloete, acting on behalf of Trainer GS Kotzen, was advised. (ZM)
