THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMAZONIAN (R A Venniker) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) MARIA LA GORDA (N Klink) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, POWER OF TIGER (P Mxoli) and CHARIKLO (*T Mayhew) were carried in by AMAZONIAN (R A Venniker), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) ONE SUMMER (C Habib) and HATHIGHWAYTOTHESKY (*S Valjalo) were bumped out by MARIA LA GORDA (N Klink), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) CHARIKLO (*T Mayhew) hung out from the 400m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) MARIA LA GORDA (N Klink) took an awkward stride at the 250m and thereafter shifted out away from the crop. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine, e) HATHIGHWAYTOTHESKY (*S Valjalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
