Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MS SAKURA (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 400m ROSE WOOTT (AUS) (S Moodley) was brushed on the hindquarters by LILTING SONG (C Little), which was directed outwards in an attempt to secure clear running. b) FUTURE GAMBLE (L Mxothwa), which was taken in behind runners from its outside draw in the early stages, was held up in the concluding stages. c) Apprentice N Yuen reported that AIN'T MISBEHAVING over raced in the early stages and, as a consequence, raced at the head of the field in the early and middle stages, which was contrary to her riding instructions. Thereafter, in the concluding stages, Apprentice N Yuen was unable to ride AIN'T MISBEHAVING to the finish when close to the heels of LEBOMBO GOLD (G Lerena), which was hanging out in the latter stages and shifted out. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding MS SAKURA (C Zackey), Trainer DM Kannemeyer will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) ROSE WOOTT (AUS), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
