THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FOREVER ROYAL (J Penny) was slow losing two lengths. b) NEW GALAXY (L Nhlapo) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 200m, ZAFAR (M Thackeray) was carried in marginally by COPPER FIRE (J R Syster), which hung in from the 400m. b) Jockey J Penny reported that he felt something amiss with FOREVER ROYAL in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine c) COPPER FIRE (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Swanson advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) NEW GALAXY was ridden by Jockey L Nhlapo (declared 21 November 2025 at 11H21), who weighed out at 50,9, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
