THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LIFE AND LETTERS (S Moodley) was restless in the stalls. b) KORCULA (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) BLOOD OF EDEN (S Khumalo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1400m, MATTER OF TRUST (C Habib), which commenced to over-race, was carried out by AMAZE ME (*M Mbuto), which rolled out. b) Jockey K Matsunyane (SASSY LASSIE) did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey K Matsunyane reported that this filly choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine c) LIFE AND LETTERS (S Moodley) hung in from the 200m. d) Jockey C Zackey reported that FUTURE SUCCESS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) INTO DANCING (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
