THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 800m, JUST THE TWO OF US (*T Mayhew) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the inside of GLASTONBURY (P Mxoli), which rolled inwards. b) In view of the performance of GLASTONBURY (P Mxoli), (distance 9,15 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the performance of ALPINE JET (G Lerena), (distance 9,35 lengths, betting 8/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) ANCHORAGE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
