THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ALL THE TIME (*M Mbuto) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) As the start was effected ISIKWISHIKWISHI (R A Venniker) stumbled badly leaving the starting stalls resulting in Jockey R A Venniker being severely unbalanced and losing the footing to her right-side stirrup iron which she regained shortly thereafter. b) Passing the 250m KING'S ISLAND (*D D Louw) was carried in by MVELELO (S Veale) which hung in from the 300m. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss in the running with INDUSTRIALSTRENGTH. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentice E J Muller (FAIRE ADVANTAGE) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. e) MVELELO (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W M Masawi was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
