THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	TIN PAN ALLEY (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	TOMMY SHELBY (J Gates) and COPPER EAGLE (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 400m, TOMMY SHELBY (J Gates) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of ECHO CHECK (S Khumalo), which rolled out and was corrected. 	
b)	Jockey S Khumalo (ECHO CHECK) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter,  Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
c)	In view of the performance of TIN PAN ALLEY (G Lerena), (distance 8,65 lengths, betting 5/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
d)	In view of the performance of WHISPERING DEATH (S Veale), (distance 14,25 lengths, betting 25/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
e)	TRUST (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
